Jamie Bragg

A luminary in the world of dance, Jamie is an illustrious Director and Studio Owner with an unparalleled wealth of dance experience spanning over four decades. With a remarkable career that has touched the hearts and souls of countless dancers and audiences alike, Jamie's unwavering commitment to the art form has made her a legend in her own right.

Now in her 16th season as the owner, teacher, and director of Signature Dance, Jamie Bragg's name has become synonymous with excellence in the dance world. Her well-deserved reputation is built upon a profound knowledge of tap, jazz, choreography, and the art of performance.

​

One of Jamie's most enduring legacies lies in the success of her students. Many of them have gone on to achieve professional careers in the dance world, gracing stages in Dance Companies, NBA Dance Teams, Broadway productions, Disney shows, and as esteemed Dance Instructors themselves. Her dedication to nurturing talent and fostering a love for the arts has inspired generations of dancers to reach for the stars.

ISAAC Berry

Isaac's exceptional talent and innovative choreography have found a home at Team Signature Dance, where he is now in his third season as a pivotal member of the team. His initial talents were put toward building a hip hop program have grown far beyond those reaches. His contributions as co-director and choreographer have elevated the company to new heights, blending contemporary movements with his mastery of hip hop, jazz, and strength and conditioning techniques.

His dedication to honing his craft was evident from an early age, as he tirelessly practiced his moves and refined his technique, all while pushing the boundaries of his creative expression.  With a deep-seated passion, an unwavering commitment to his craft, and a wealth of knowledge, he is striving to better all his students in the hip hop genre by breaking down techniques and finding the "pocket" within various music.  Isaac is ecstatic to take on a bigger role at the studio for the 2023-2024 season and is dedicated to seeing Signature Dance evolve.

emily duke

Emily Duke is originally from Marion, Indiana and moved to Fort Wayne in 2018.  She began dancing at the age of 4 and competively dancing at the age of 9.  She studied tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, musical theater, and hip hop.  At the age of 15, Emily began instructing and choreographing her first recreational classes and developed a passion for teaching.  She went to Ball State University and earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a minor in dance. While at Ball State Emily performed in multiples showcases and was involved in Code Red Dance Team where she had the opportunity to train at Pro Action Dance, as well as perform at a bowl game and conference tournaments.

 

Emily has received multiple choreography awards and high scoring numbers. She loves to watch the students motivate and inspire one another.  Emily is very excited to share her passion and knowledge for dance with the students in the upcoming season.

Hailey Toy

Hailey Toy received her early dance training in Kansas City, KS at Danceworks Conservatory. In 2005 she relocated to Indiana and began training at Fort Wayne Ballet. Through her early training she was able to perform in full-length productions of The Last Unicorn, Nine, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Cinderella, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. 
In 2009 Hailey began teaching ballet while pursuing her B.S. in Exercise Science with a minor in Performance Dance and a concentration in Physical Therapy. In 2016 she began teaching for Dancers Edge where she had the opportunity of directing The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland, and The Wizard of Oz. In 2022, Hailey returned to school to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy through the University of Pittsburgh. Hailey approaches dance from an anatomical background with an emphasis on proper form, safety, and injury prevention of dancers. She is excited to be starting her third season with Signature Dance and is looking forward to developing confidence though artistry with her students.

erika freeman

Erika Freeman is an Oak Hill graduate who then attended IU - Kokomo and graduated with a Health Promotion Bachelors degree and a nutrition minor.  Erika grew up dancing under Jamie Bragg for her entire dance career, taking all different dance classes, competing, and being a part of a tap traveling group under the direction of Jamie Bragg called TapIndiana.  

 

She is currently employed at Zimmer Biomet on the learning and development team and is getting her personal training and nutritional coaching certification.  With the certification she is earning in personal training she and Isaac can lead a solid and foundational strength and conditioning class for our dancers.
